The residents of Carnuntum

On the first weekend of the month, the houses in the Roman Quarter fill with life. The inhabitants of Carnuntum move back into their homes and talk about their everyday lives as well as the world they live in, giving an insight into life on the Danube over 1,700 years ago.

On these days, visitors to Carnuntum experience a very special guided tour program. The normal guided tour program is enhanced by the interaction with residents and the insight into a completely new and special topic. This means that each event is unique and can only be visited on these days.
