The entire Roman Festival 2022 will take place on the grounds of the Roman Quarter in Petronell-Carnuntum. The Roman Quarter is easy to reach by public transport as well as by private car.
Parking
Directly next to the entrance to the visitor center is the large visitor parking lot of the Roman city. This is available to you free of charge during the Römerfest weekend. From there it is only to the other side of the street, where you can enter the festival area through the visitor center.

From Vienna
A4 (direction Budapest/Airport) - exit Fischamend/Bratislava
B9 (Pressburger Bundesstraße, direction Hainburg a.d. Donau) to Petronell-Carnuntum
Exit to Petronell-Carnuntum, there you will see the large parking lot of the Roman city of Carnuntum on the right side, just after the town sign.
Driving time: approx. 35 minutes
From Eisenstadt/Lake Neusiedl
B50 (Burgenland Bundesstraße) in northeastern direction to Neusiedl a. See - at the junction Neusiedl a. See take the A4 (direction Vienna) - exit Bruck a.d. Leitha OST (direction Rohrau, Hainburg a.d. Donau) - B211 (Rohrrauer Bundesstraße) to the turnoff to Petronell-Carnuntum
In Petronell go straight on until you reach the main road, then turn left (signposted) in the direction of the Roman town quarter, before the town sign on the left is the large parking lot of the Roman town Carnuntum.
Driving time: about 50 minutes
From Bratislava
B9 (Pressburger Bundesstraße) in the direction of Vienna until Petronell-Carnuntum
From the B9 turn left, then immediately right to Petronell-Carnuntum. In Petronell go straight on until you reach the main road, then turn left (signposted) in the direction of the Roman town quarter, before the town sign on the left is the large parking lot of the Roman town of Carnuntum.
Driving time approx. 30 minutes
From Budapest
In Hungary via the M1 to the border crossing Nickelsdorf, there on the Austrian side on the A4 to the exit Bruck a.d. Leitha OST (direction Rohrau, Hainburg a.d. Donau), then via the B211 (Rohrrauer Bundesstraße) to the turnoff to Petronell-Carnuntum.
