Visitor information

30./31. May and 6./7. June 2020

opening times 9 am to 6 pm

On two weekends Roman life at its best will be brought to you, where not even faithful regular visitors could wish for more. The Roman city is offering an extensive programme, so that you can move back and forth from the world of the legions, to a meeting with Germans and Dacians, to the world of gladiators and to graceful Roman dancers.

In the amphitheatre our Familia Gladiatoria Carnuntina brings to life the world of the arena. Watch them training, try your hand as a gladiator yourself in the gladiator school and cheer your favourite on in the spectacular performances.

The programme will be accompanied by Roman crafts, a varied children’s programme and Roman refreshments.
