Austria’s largest Roman Festival is being staged in 2020 on two weekends (May 30/31 and June 6/7). Once again, the festival will be substantially larger, more spectacular and more diverse than in previous years.

Once again, the festival will be substantially larger, more spectacular and more diverse than in previous years. The festival is easy to travel to from Vienna, Bratislava and Budapest and is THE excursion destination for Central European enthusiasts of ancient Rome.

Dine like the Romans! Delicious Roman dishes hand-picked among ancient recipes await guests in the posh villa urbana of the reconstructed city quarter.

Long day of museums

The Roman City Quarter and Museum Carnuntinum keep their doors open until 9 p.m.! Not to be missed: a torch light hike to the Civilian City‘s Amphitheatre and the "Heidentor" (Heathen's Gate).
