The current season ended on November 20, 2022, and there is much to be pleased about: in 2022, more than 165,000 visitors came to Carnuntum, which means that the Roman city has seamlessly matched the pre-Corona level of 2019. And this despite the fact that due to the reconstruction the Carnuntinum Museum could only open in July 2022 with the new exhibition "Weltstadt am Donaulimes".
