Rímska mestská štvrť (s obmedzeniami)

Z parkoviska sa dostanete k pokladni a bezbariérovému vstupu pre vozíčkarov po štrkových, ale rovných a ľahko prístupných chodníkoch k centrálnemu informačnému ostrovčeku v areáli. Odtiaľ sa vám naskytne výhľad na rímsku štvrť a prostredníctvom filmu si môžete prezrieť interiér zrekonštruovaných domov.
Verne zrekonštruované rímske domy majú niekoľko schodov a nerovný povrch. Rímska cesta obklopuje tieto domy a je len čiastočne priechodná pre vozíčkarov a kočíky.
Pomocou mobilných ľahkých karbónových rámp (dĺžka 208,5 cm, vnútorná šírka 76 cm, nosnosť 350 kg, hmotnosť 7 kg) si môžete rímske kúpele a villa urbana ľahko prezrieť. Tieto mobilné rampy, ako aj invalidné vozíky, sú k dispozícii v pokladni a na viacerých miestach v areáli.
Prosíme vás, aby ste sa niekoľko dní pred návštevou telefonicky informovali o podmienkach na mieste. Skupiny s objednanými prehliadkami so sprievodcom prosíme, aby nás o svojich požiadavkách informovali pri rezervácii. Pri hlavnom vchode a v záchodovom bloku v areáli a v reštaurácii nášho múzea sa nachádza toaleta pre telesne postihnutých.

Amfiteáter vojenského mesta
Z parkoviska je prístup až do pokladnice a expozície. Pri vjazde k aréne je výhodou využitie asistenčnej služby. Cesta k pokladnici a expozícii je vysypaná štrkom, do arény sa dá dostať cez lúku. V Amfiteátri vojenského mesta sa toalety pre postihnutých nenachádzajú.

Museum Carnuntinum
Budova múzea Museum Carnuntinum je komplexne prispôsobená potrebám osôb znevýhodnených postihnutím. Na vyššie poschodia premáva individuálny výťah na vozíčky. V prípade potreby je k dispozícii aj invalidný vozík. Bezbariérová toaleta sa nachádza na prízemí. Toaleta pre telesne postihnutých sa nachádza na prízemí.

Všetky priestory pokladníc sú vybavené mobilnými indukčnými hlásičmi. V Múzeu v prírode Petronell-Carnuntum sú k dispozícii fixné načúvacie „stanovištia“ s indukčnými hlásičmi a na požiadanie – po predchádzajúcom dohovore - poskytuje i mobilné indukčné hlásiče pre skupiny so sprievodcom. Indukčným hlásičom disponuje aj výstavný priestor amfiteátra v obci Bad Deutsch-Altenburg.

Rímska mestská štvrť

Už na parkovisku začína pozemný systém vodiacich pásov – vedie až do archeologického parku. Vodiaci orientačný systém je vybudovaný i na celom území parku. Všetky informácie na informačných tabuliach sú napísané i Braillovým písmom. Okrem toho sú všetky informačné tabule doplnené o hmatom identifikovateľné informácie alebo texty v Braillovom písme. Ďalším zdrojom informácií je bezplatný „sprievodca“ – leták v Braillovom písme i zväčšenej latinke. 

Amfiteáter vojenského mesta

Na informačných tabuliach sú údaje napísané aj Braillovým písmom.

Museum Carnuntinum

Aktuálna výstava nedisponuje hmatom identifikovateľnými informáciami a nie sú v nej ani informačné tabule so zápismi v Braillovom písme.

Archäologischer Kulturpark Niederösterreich Betriebsgesellschaft m.b.H. endeavors to ensure that its website at www.carnuntum.at and its online store at https://shop.carnuntum.at/ webshop/ in accordance with the Web Accessibility Act (WZG) and the Lower Austrian Web Accessibility Ordinance implementing EU Directive 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council of October 26, 2016, on the accessibility of the websites and mobile applications of public sector bodies.

Status of compliance with requirements

Due to the following incompatibilities and exceptions, the website is partially compliant with conformity level AA of the “Web Content Accessibility Guidelines – WCAG 2.1” and the applicable harmonized European standard EN 301 549 V3.2.1 (2021-03). The incompatibilities and exceptions are listed below.

Incompatibility with accessibility regulations

• For some images and graphics, the alternative text is not meaningful or is missing entirely (WCAG 1.1.1 Non-text Content).
• Some content in sliders is cut off at the sides when scaled up to 200% in the browser. In some cases, text content is also superimposed (WCAG 1.4.10 Overflow).
• Moving images should be pausable, but there is no pause button or similar (WCAG 2.2.1 Adjustable timing and 2.2.2 Pause, stop, hide).
• In some cases, the keyboard focus on logos and buttons is not clearly recognizable. In a few cases, the focus is not visible or elements cannot be controlled with the keyboard, e.g., checkboxes in forms (WCAG 2.1.1 Keyboard and WCAG 2.4.7 Focus Visible).
• The website is compatible with current assistive technologies such as screen readers. When opening and closing the menu, no status message is announced by screen readers (WCAG 4.1.3 Status Messages).
• PDF documents: Individual downloadable PDF files do not fully comply with accessibility requirements.
   

We are working on solving these problems:

• Alternative texts are being continuously added and optimized.
• We are continuously working on focus issues to further minimize them.
• Moving images will be equipped with a pause button by the end of 2025.

The content does not fall within the scope of the applicable legal provisions.

Website review

The website's compliance with the Web Accessibility Act implementing the requirements of EU Directive 2016/2102 was assessed in August 2025 in the form of an external test according to WCAG 2.1 at conformity level AA in July 2025. The homepage, contact options, five other representative subpages of the NÖKU website, and the homepages of the respective NÖKU companies were reviewed. Individual page content is regularly checked by the web editorial team when new content is published.
