Getting there

The entire Roman festival takes place on the grounds of the Roman quarter.

The S7 (towards Wolfsthal) runs hourly from Wien Mitte to Petronell-Carnuntum, and trains run hourly from Petronell to Wien Mitte. During the festival, the train station and the city district are connected by a shuttle bus; it takes about 10-15 minutes on foot.

During the festival, a shuttle bus runs from the train station to the Roman quarter every 20 minutes after the hour (train arrival: 11 minutes after the hour). From the quarter, the shuttle bus runs to the train station on the hour (train departure 19 minutes after the hour). The journey time is 5 minutes.

There are two large free parking lots available on site.
