Guided tours

Carnuntum offers its visitors one-hour guided tours in German language at two of its main venues for € 4 p.p.  Please kindly make sure to be at the ticket box approx. 30 min. prior to the start of the tour in the high season (May – September). Children until 6 yrs. are free.

Guided tours weekdays  (Mon-Fri)

11:00, 13:00 and 15:00 in the Roman Quarter.
Duration: 1 hour
Price: 4,- Euro; children under 6 years free of charge

13:00, 15:00 and 16:00 at the Carnuntinum Museum
Duration: approx. 50 minutes
Price: 4,- Euro; children under 6 years free 

 
Guided tours weekend and holidays (Sat-Sun)

10:00, 11:00, 12:00, 13:00, 14:00 and 15:00 in the Roman Quarter.
Duration: 1 hour
Price: 4,- Euro; children under 6 years free of charge

Duration: approx. 50 minutes

Until September 1, 2024, there will be a daily guided tour in English at 11:00 a.m. in the Roman quarter of the Roman city of Carnuntum. 

Until September 1, 2024, a guided tour in Slovakian takes place daily at 1:00 pm in the Roman quarter of the Roman city of Carnuntum.

In addition to our guided tours in German, this season we offer guided tours of the Roman Quarter in Slovak on the following days.
