Autumn holidays in Carnuntum
The fall break in Carnuntum offers a colorful program of living history, exciting themed tours, and family games for children.
The autumn holidays in Carnuntum begin on the weekend of October 25/26 with the event “In the Living Rooms of the Romans,” and the Roman quarter will once again be filled with life. Meet the inhabitants of Carnuntum on your tour of the Roman houses and learn about their interesting (life) stories. The Roman kitchens will be brought to life as in times past. Freshly baked Roman flatbread and globi with honey will smell tempting and can be sampled.
From Monday to Friday during the fall break, exciting guided tours will be offered daily in the Roman quarter and the Carnuntinum Museum. Children and people of all ages are especially recommended to take the family tour at 11 a.m. and the time travel tour at 12 p.m. in the Roman quarter.

Guided tours of the Roman Quarter at 10:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m. family tour, 12:00 p.m. time travel tour, 1:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m., and 3:00 p.m. Tour price €4 per person

Every day during the fall break, children can test their puzzle-solving skills and go on a journey of discovery through Carnuntum with the family game. Pick up the family game sheet at the ticket office in the Roman quarter or at the Carnuntinum Museum, and off you go! A reward awaits the diligent explorers at the end.
On All Saints' Day weekend, November 1-2, the Roman city will be dedicated entirely to the theme of “Death and Burial in Roman Antiquity.” All tours in the Roman Quarter and Museum Carnuntinum will focus on this special theme during the weekend and take this important stage of life into account.
The NÖ Card is valid throughout the fall break under the usual conditions.
