1. Roman Quarter
In Carnuntum, the Roman era is not a distant past, but a present that can be experienced with all senses. For this purpose, a part of a Roman city quarter has been reconstructed on the original site, the only one of its kind in the world.

3. The Heathen's Gate
The present landmark of Carnuntum was originally a triumphal arch in front of the walls of the civil town of Carnuntum.

4. Military City's Amphitheatre
The amphitheatre was built of stone during the 2nd century A.D., and the spectator stands could seat a total of about 8,000 people. A multimedia exhibition next to the amphitheater of the military city gives an insight into the world of ancient arena fighters.

5. Civilan City's Amphitheatre
The amphitheatre of the civil city was located outside the ancient city walls and was built at the end of the 2nd century AD.
It is next to the Roman Quarter within 10 minutes walking distance.
