Getting there

The entire Roman festival takes place on the grounds of the Roman quarter.

A rail replacement service is currently running from Fischamend (toward Wolfsthal) to Petronell-Carnuntum. An hourly rail replacement service runs from Petronell to Fischamend, from where you can continue your journey to Vienna by train. During the festival, a shuttle bus connects the train station to the neighborhood; it takes about 10–15 minutes to walk there.

During the festival, a shuttle runs from the train station to the Roman Quarter and back. You can find the shuttle schedule here. The ride takes 5 minutes.

There are two large free parking lots available on site.
