On June 20 and 21, 2026 Carnuntum turns into the city of children. Young Roman lovers can immerse themselves in the Roman past with numerous activities in the reconstructed city district. The historical adventure begins on arrival, when the young visitors are transformed into citizens of ancient Carnuntum by means of Roman garments. Roman delicacies can be sampled in the kitchens, and in the spa there are explanations on how to make exquisite scented oils and ointments according to Roman recipes.

Those who want to test their handicraft skills can get tips at various handicraft and hands-on stations. Sack races, pantomime, ancient legends, dice and role-playing games and much more provide lots of fun!
