Family tours in CarnuntumAfter the Easter vacations, April remains Family Month in the Roman town of Carnuntum. The popular family tours for children are offered daily until May 2nd and invite the youngest visitors on a playful journey back in time to Roman antiquity. During this period, the tours are aimed specifically at pre-school children (4 to 6 years).

The tours are child-friendly, lively and ideal for the first visit to the museum - made for little explorers with great curiosity! Parents and grandparents experience antiquity with new eyes and can go in search of clues together with their children.

On the first weekend in May, antiquity comes back to life in Carnuntum. The inhabitants of Carnuntum once again move into the Roman quarter, embodied by cultural mediators from the Roman town, so that visitors can ask the inhabitants all their questions about ancient Carnuntum.
