Římská městská čtvrť (omezeně bezbariérové)

Z parkoviště se na invalidním vozíku dostanete bezbariérově k pokladně a po asfaltových, resp. zpevněných cestách k centrálnímu informačnímu místu v areálu. Odtud uvidíte celou římskou městskou čtvrť a interiéry zrekonstruovaných domů si můžete prohlédnout prostřednictvím filmového záznamu. Ve věrně zrekonstruovaných římských domech jsou někde vyšší schody a nerovnosti. Kolem těchto domů vede ulice Römerstraße, která je pro invalidní vozíky a kočárky sjízdná jen částečně. Objet ji můžete přes louku. Římské lázně a městskou vilu Villa Urbana můžete navštívit pomocí mobilních ramp (délka 200 cm, vnitřní šířka 75 cm, nosnost 250 kg, váha 6,8 kg). Mobilní rampy a invalidní vozíky jsou pro návštěvníky k dispozici k individuálnímu použití na pokladně a v areálu. Pokud je budete potřebovat použít, nahlaste to prosím telefonicky několik dní před návštěvou a na místě pak zjistěte podmínky. Vlastníte-li elektrický invalidní vozík, který váží víc než 250 kg, tak nás prosím telefonicky informujte. Máme k dispozici ještě další rampy. Pokud rezervujete komentovanou prohlídku pro skupinu a budete potřebovat invalidní vozík a rampy, uveďte prosím tuto skutečnost již při rezervaci. Toaleta pro invalidy se nachází u hlavního vchodu.

Amfiteátr vojenského města 
Z parkoviště se na invalidním vozíku dostanete až k pokladně a do výstavního prostoru. Pro přístup do arény je vhodné mít doprovod. Cesta k pokladně a do výstavního prostoru je štěrková, do arény se dá dojet po louce. Na tribuně jsou vyhrazená místa pro vozíčkáře. U amfiteátru není toaleta pro invalidy.

Muzeum Carnuntinum
Muzeum Carnuntinum si můžete prohlédnout celé i na invalidním vozíku. Do horního patra se dostanete schodišťovým výtahem. V případě potřeby je k dispozici také jeden invalidní vozík.

Všechny pokladny jsou vybaveny přenosnými indukčními smyčkami. V římské městské čtvrti jsou místa s audionahrávkami vybavena indukčními smyčkami, pro komentované prohlídky jsou k dispozici také přenosná indukční zařízení, ty je třeba rezervovat předem.

V amfiteátru vojenského města je výstavní prostor také vybaven indukční smyčkou.

Římská městská čtvrť
Z parkoviště do archeoparku vede po zemi vodicí linie. V archeoparku je pak hmatný orientační systém. Veškeré informace na informačních tabulích jsou i Braillovým písmem. Kromě toho je na pokladně k dispozici také krátký průvodce psaný Braillovým písmem a průvodce psaný velkými písmeny.

Informační tabule jsou i Braillovým písmem.

Muzeum Carnuntinum
V muzeu momentálně nejsou k dispozici taktilní informace ani informace psané Braillovým písmem.

Status of compliance with requirements

Due to the following incompatibilities and exceptions, the website is partially compliant with conformity level AA of the “Web Content Accessibility Guidelines – WCAG 2.1” and the applicable harmonized European standard EN 301 549 V3.2.1 (2021-03). The incompatibilities and exceptions are listed below.

Incompatibility with accessibility regulations

• For some images and graphics, the alternative text is not meaningful or is missing entirely (WCAG 1.1.1 Non-text Content).
• Some content in sliders is cut off at the sides when scaled up to 200% in the browser. In some cases, text content is also superimposed (WCAG 1.4.10 Overflow).
• Moving images should be pausable, but there is no pause button or similar (WCAG 2.2.1 Adjustable timing and 2.2.2 Pause, stop, hide).
• In some cases, the keyboard focus on logos and buttons is not clearly recognizable. In a few cases, the focus is not visible or elements cannot be controlled with the keyboard, e.g., checkboxes in forms (WCAG 2.1.1 Keyboard and WCAG 2.4.7 Focus Visible).
• The website is compatible with current assistive technologies such as screen readers. When opening and closing the menu, no status message is announced by screen readers (WCAG 4.1.3 Status Messages).
• PDF documents: Individual downloadable PDF files do not fully comply with accessibility requirements.
   

We are working on solving these problems:

• Alternative texts are being continuously added and optimized.
• We are continuously working on focus issues to further minimize them.
• Moving images will be equipped with a pause button by the end of 2025.
